Alumna Sr. Genevieve Lee, O.S.B., Speaks on Vocation and Religious Life
Sr. Genevieve Lee, O.S.B., Class of 2015, visited our theology classes and joined the altar guild—along with any other girls interested—for lunch, offering a meaningful opportunity to learn more about religious life. Sr. Genevieve also recently visited The True Cross Shrine in Dickinson, where she shared her vocation story and spoke about how the Lord called her to leave everything behind to follow Him in a life of poverty, chastity, and obedience.
Sr. Genevieve, O.S.B., is a nun at the Abby of Regina Laudis in Bethlehem, Connecticut. She was raised in Houston, Texas, and graduated from the University of Dallas with a B.A. in English in 2019. After college, she participated in the Abbey's monastic internship program and was a Junior Fellow at First Things before entering the monastery in 2021. At Regina Laudis, Sr. Genevieve works in many areas on the land, including the beef and dairy herds and in the orchards. She made her first profession in January of this year (2026).
