Finishing Strong: SJ23 Swim at TAPPS State

On Wednesday, Feb. 11, the SJ23 Lions competed with distinction at the TAPPS State Championships. The girls’ team secured an impressive 11th place out of 19 teams, while the boys’ team claimed a powerhouse 5th place finish in a field of 19.

Our Lions stood tall in several key events:
  • Boys 200yd Medley Relay: Roman Nguyen, John Foreman, Josh Thekkekara, Nathan Etheridge – 4th Place
  • Boys 200yd Free Relay: Josh Thekkekara, Roman Nguyen, Mateo Balcazar, Brixton Voinche – 6th Place
  • Madi Sero: 100yd Breaststroke – 4th Place
  • John Foreman: 100yd Breaststroke – 4th Place | 100yd Freestyle – 6th Place
