Important Information about TEFA accounts
Beginning February 4, 2026, Texas families may apply for the Texas Education Freedom Accounts Program (TEFA). Education Freedom Accounts are provided through the State of Texas to support families in accessing a broader range of educational opportunities.
St. John XXIII College Preparatory has been accepted to the program as an eligible recipient school. Families considering St. John XXIII College Preparatory are encouraged to apply for TEFA, even if they are unsure of eligibility.

Once awarded, TEFA funds continue through twelfth grade without the need to reapply. All Texas students are eligible to apply, and there is no cost to apply.
