Quest Retreat

Quest Retreat Information

Our next QUEST Retreat is January 13-15, 2023.   QUEST has been around Catholic High Schools since the winter of 1977, starting in Quincy, Illinois and spreading from there. It is a retreat designed to prepare your child spiritually for a Kairos retreat in their Junior or Senior year. The name “Quest” means a ‘searching for’ or ‘a journey’. The program centers around a theme of “the three circles of love”, love of self, love of others, and love of God.

We have chosen St. John Paul II as our patron saint for our Quest Retreats. He loved the youth and was greatly responsible for a revival in the young church. At the end of this retreat, your child will receive a St. John Paul II medal to recognize them for completing a Quest Retreat. Sacraments are an integral part of the retreat with Mass, prayer services, reconciliation, and adoration.   Retreatants are invited to consider becoming student leaders for future Quest retreats.

Our retreat this school year will be held at the Forest Glen Retreat Center in Huntsville. Please visit their website to see photos of the facility. Students and chaperones sleep in a 2 story Lodge with the boys on one floor and the girls on the other. All meals are provided. In addition, we will ask families to donate one 24 pack of water and snacks to share for the weekend.

Students will be dismissed after school on Friday, January 13th to board a bus to the retreat center.  We will return on Sunday, January 15th at 1:40pm.

Stop by Campus Ministry to sign up! This retreat usually fills up quickly.
