New Bible Study Beginning

New Bible Study Beginning for SJXXIII Parents and Adults:

Looking for an anchor to hold you steady through the storms of life? Want the secret to finding joy in the midst of trials? Interested in learning to recognize the source of discord and the way to peace? James, one of the most practical books of the Bible, is a collection of teachings on issues faced by ordinary Christians in everyday life. The book of James will help you discover wisdom you can apply to the present.

Beginning on March 10th, freshman theology teacher Deacon Mark Baker will be facilitating a Bible study on the Letter of James. We will use the videos and workbook materials from Ascension Press (led by scholar Jeff Cavins). Deacon Baker will supplement these excellent materials with his knowledge from studying and writing on the Letter of James.

When: Every Wednesday evening beginning March 10 (except Spring Break 3/17) at 7:00 - 8:00 PM
Where: Via Zoom -- An online link will be provided to everyone who registers
Who: Any St. John XXIII parents, grandparents, or faculty/staff

If you'd like to join this new study class, please email Kelli DeGeeter at kdegeeter@gmail.com, and she will send you the information to register. The cost of $26.95 (plus taxes/shipping) is paid to Ascension Press; it includes your workbook plus online access to the videos. Each participating household should purchase one "study set" (workbook plus online video access). The study will be 11 sessions long.  We hope to see many new faces in March!
