Track & Field off to State

On Thursday, April 26, our girls and boys Track & Field teams represented St. John XXIII at the TAPPS 5A/6A South Regional Track and Field meet.

The following students set personal records in their events:
 
Maura Gallic ‘19 (200m)
Matthew Stasia ‘18 (Discus, Shot Put)
Andrew Blick ’19 (Discus, Shot Put)
Harrison Steen ‘21 (1600m)
Nolan Diers ’20 (800m)
 

In addition to those setting personal records at the regional meet, the following students set school records:

Ben Turner ‘19 (Pole Vault)
May Le ‘18, Natalie Lane ‘19, Clare Cosgray ‘18, Giulia Zaffaroni ‘18 (4x400m Relay)
Omozusi Guobadia ‘19, Ian Craig ‘18, Diers, Keegan O’Connor ‘18 (4x400m Relay)
 

Last, but definitely not least, the following students’ efforts at the South Regional Meet earned the right to compete the 2018 TAPPS State Championship Meet on May 4 and 5 at Panther Stadium in Waco, TX:
