Host International Students

Would you be interested in becoming a host family for an International Student at St. John XXIII?

Are you interested in introducing your child and family to the global community outside of our little enclave of SJ23, Katy, Texas, U.S.A.?  We are looking for families of current students to host students from all over the world for our International Program for the 2018-2019 school year. The students will attend SJ23 taking classes with our students, and the host families will provide room, board, and transportation to and from school and school activities. There will be a monthly stipend for 10 months a year for each International Student. Most students return to their native country for the two summer months June and July. If you are interested in participating, please contact Ms. Susie Kramer, Director of the International Student Program at skramer@sj23lions.org or 281-693-1000.

Thirteen of our nineteen international students are currently living with host families.  If you would like to speak with one of them about this process, Ms. Kramer will be happy to connect you with them. This could be an experience of your lifetime!
