SJ23 Baseball: Celebrates Seniors and Continues to Build Program

Senior Night
On April 15, the team celebrated its senior players at the last home game against St. Thomas. The Lions ultimately fell against the Eagles, losing 3-8. However, it was a great night highlighting those who have led with sportsmanship and determination. As the spring semester is concluding, SJ23 wishes its seniors a safe and happy graduation experience!

Recapping the Season
While the Lions finished the 2025 season with a 6-15-1 record, there's a palpable sense of optimism surrounding the program's future. This year's roster featured a significant number of young athletes, providing invaluable experience to underclassmen who are poised to step into larger roles next season. Adding to this promising outlook is the anticipated return of talented athletes who were sidelined due to injury this year. Their return will undoubtedly bolster the team's depth and skill as they prepare to take the field once again.

Despite the season's challenges, SJ23 remains incredibly proud of the team's effort, resilience, and the growth demonstrated by its players. The foundation built this year, coupled with the talent within the program, suggests a bright future for Lions baseball. As the season concludes, SJ23 wishes the team a productive and restful off-season, filled with preparation and anticipation for their return to the mound.
