Dear Parents and Guardians,

Blackbaud, the company that supplies the platform for our Student Information System (SIS), is changing its current login process. Their new login process requires the use of a Blackbaud ID (BBID). This new BBID is more secure and allows parents/guardians to manage their own passwords. You will be receiving an email invitation from St. John XXIII College Preparatory to create your BBID and connect to our school. The entire process takes about five minutes to complete.

In order for this migration to be successful, you must have a valid and unique email address on file in your current Blackbaud account. Please check your email address by logging into your account and select the down arrow next to your name, which is located in the upper right-hand corner. Next, select Profile, and under your profile you will see the heading Digital. This is where your email address is located. Please make sure that you have a personal email address and that it is unique to you.

 

  

 

We are in the process of updating all the student emails in Blackbaud to their school email, ensuring that there will not be any conflicting email addresses for our students. A separate email invitation will be sent to the student’s school email account. So, it is vital that they check their SJ23 email in order for them to migrate to the new login process with BBID.

The migration deadline date is July 26, 2022. Any account that has not migrated will not be able to login using the old login process.  The invitations to create your BBID will begin to be sent out June 13, 2022.
