If you plan on volunteering at the school: All adult volunteers are required to be Safe Haven trained before volunteering. Please ensure you have taken or renewed your training. Thank you!
PREVIOUSLY TRAINED VOLUNTEERS
If you have completed VIRTUS training in the past five years, do not create a new account in CMG Connect. Log in with your previous personal user ID from VIRTUS and enter the password 1234. If you do not remember your VIRTUS user ID or are unable to log in, send an email to cmgconnect@catholicmutual.org for log-in assistance, or please get in touch with your local Safe Environment Coordinators, Tawana Fulmer and Ellen Fihlman
You can change your password once you log into your CMG Connect account.
If you received training in a different diocese, you must retake it to be valid in the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston.
NEW VOLUNTEERS (NEVER ATTENDED A TRAINING BEFORE)
If you have never attended a VIRTUS training or taken the Safe Haven online training, please register to create a new account via CMG Connect at https://GalvestonHouston.CMGConnect.org.
Please select Private NON-Archdiocesan School Employee/Volunteer to be assigned the correct training curriculum. If you completed Virtus after 2012, please do not create a new account—you will already have an account in the system.

Once you have completed the training, you may download the certificate from the CMG training dashboard and the SJ23 background check form, turn them in to the front office, or upload them to your student's MAGNUS PORTAL. For more information, please email them at announce@sj23.org.
