Regional Visual Arts Scholastic Event
Twenty-one SJ23 art and photography students participated in the Regional Visual Arts Scholastic Event (VASE) competition sponsored by the Texas Art Educators Association this past Saturday. Our students’ work received positive feedback from the adjudicators.
Art works are critiqued using a 1-4 rating system. We ended the competition bringing home seven 3 ratings (Strong) and twenty 4 ratings (Excellent, the highest rating). Representing SJ23 were, Thaiis Martinez, Gianna Say, Veronica Gonzalez-Vidal, Ceci Davila, Jason Ziahe, Audrey Magner, Claire Cohen, Lucas Fuller, Mackenzie Fieser, Sarah DeForke, Sarah David, Morgan Brosch, Suzanne Wells, Gabriela Davila, Caitlin Blanchard, Roman Brown, Isabella Merino, Austin Paul, Daniela Sandweg, Mattie Schrader, and Dylin Waldorf.
