Hurricane Laura Update from the Principal

Saint Louis

Dear Parents, Guardians, and Friends,

On behalf of the staff and faculty, thank you for your prayers as we navigate every twist and turn that 2020 has thrown at us. The Faculty members have been busy recording lessons and updating their class Blackbaud pages, and we are all praying for your health and safety.

Hurricane Laura is forcing us to make a minor modification to our schedule.  Our campus will be closed on Thursday and Friday because of the storm’s projected track. However, all classes will have their introductory lessons uploaded to Blackbaud by Wednesday evening and will be available for our students to view. In addition to this notice, we are sending emails to the students, asking them to log into their classes on Blackbaud for a welcome from their teachers and an introduction to the class.

Please make sure that your students log in to their Blackbaud and @sj23lions.org email account to access their specific introductory lessons by Friday, August 28, 2020.

We will continue our hybrid learning schedule with Hybrid Group 1 welcomed to campus on Monday, August 31, 2020.

Please stay safe and pray for all those in the path of the storm, especially our most vulnerable neighbors.

Sincerely in Christ,
Joseph Noonan
Principal
