It’s hard to believe summer will end in a few short weeks, and the school will fill with students eager to reunite with friends, old and new, and begin again the process of learning. We look forward to welcoming you on during the orientations beginning Tuesday, August 13. It’s going to be a great year!
Come and See; Go and Tell!
This year’s theme is taken from two scripture passages Psalm 66:5 ‘Come and see what God has done, his awesome deeds for mankind!’ and from Luke 22:7 Where Christ says Go and Tell the world the Kingdom of God is at hand’. This year, let us be encouraged to share that Saint John XXIII is a fabulous place!
We want the whole world to Come and See what goes on at our school and then to Go and Tell everyone about it, for God allowed this school to be built - He inspires it, He directs it, and it exists for our betterment and God’s glory. We want everyone to experience this wonderful school and to meet our students and staff, see our beautiful campus, and then tell everyone about Saint John XXIII.
This year we are adding an extraordinary tradition to our calendar. On Thursday, October 11, our school will celebrate the feast of Saint John XXIII by inviting families, friends, alumni, and community to a special Mass at 1:00 p.m. followed by a “block party” with fun for the whole family. Please save the date and share with your friends and family!
This year, Saint John XXIII will be showcasing our success through the accreditation process. There will be a number of activities happening on campus in February, and we will share more as we prepare in the coming months.
May God bless you all,
P.S. Please note the class orientation meeting schedule below and have your child(ren) prepared to be here for their allotted time.
