Seniors vs. Faculty Volleyball Game: Thursday, April 21st at 3:45 pm. A sign up will go out to all seniors
 
Yearbook:
Ads can be purchased via Jostens:   Deadline for ads is May 12th.
 
Prom:  
Friday, April 29th at The Bowery House, and the theme is Enchanted Forest. Additional details to follow. This is not a late start Friday.  Classes will be 8 am - 12 pm. All Students will have a noon dismissal on the 29th. Prom tickets are on sale online only until Monday, April 25th at 4 PM.  Tickets are $40 for single and $70 for a couple.

  • Thursday, May 12th - Occupational Dress Up Day Powder Puff/Old Spice Games
    • Old Spice at 3:45-5:00pm in competition gym
    • Powder Puff at 5:30-6:45pm on football field
  • Friday, May 13th - Mass Dress

Senior Mass at 2:00pm, parents are invited to attend

Senior Sunset at 6:45 pm - 8:15 pm 
   
Senior Final Exams, Monday May 16 – Thursday May 19th:
AP Exams begin May 2nd – 18th  

Senior Fun Day:
Thursday, May 19th at Andretti’s Indoor Karting & Games from 11 to 3:00 pm.
Please consider purchasing a gift card to help supplement raffle prizes.
Gift cards need to be turned in to front office by April 29th.
 
Baccalaureate Mass & Graduation
Graduation Practice: Thursday, May 19th at 9:00 AM.
Attendance at graduation practice is required and will begin after all seniors are present. Seniors failing to attend graduation practice will not be allowed to participate in the Baccalaureate Mass and Commencement Exercises. Caps and gowns will be distributed at graduation practice.
 
Graduation: Friday, May 20th at 6:00 PM. 
Six Graduation tickets per student will be given out the week of April 18. Students may pick them up at the front office.  Cords and NHS stoles will be given out at graduation practice.
The Baccalaureate Mass and Graduation will be held inside the competition gym this year. Seating will again be in pods assigned by lottery. This arrangement allows for spacing, maximizes guest seating, and facilitates the livestreaming set-up and production.
  • Each graduating senior will be given six (6) tickets for the ceremony, which will also be livestreamed.
  • Mass will begin promptly at 6:00 p.m. Commencement exercises will immediately follow the liturgy.
  • Seniors should report to the Student Center at 5:15 p.m.
  • Guests should be seated in the Gymnasium by 5:45 p.m.
  • Seniors will be seated with their guests, following their procession into the gym.
  • Attire and appearance must be appropriate:  For the young women: Dresses, skirt and blouse, or slacks and blouse.  Hair should be appropriate to accommodate the mortar board cap. Shoes should be appropriate for the occasion.
  • For the young men:  Dress shirt and tie, dress slacks.  Hair should be neatly cut and groomed to accommodate the mortar board cap. Shoes should be appropriate for the occasion.
 
Graduation announcements:
Ordered through Houston Graduation should have be ordered before February 1. Announcements will take approximately 4-6 weeks for delivery.

Cap and Gowns: 
All students have turned in their cap and gown measurements to Houston Graduation the week of January 10.  The cost is covered by SJ23. They will be disbursed to seniors at Graduation practice.
If you haven’t paid your activity fee, it isn’t too late. 
 
These activities are extra-curricular events, and the costs are not covered by tuition; therefore, we are asking for a donation of $100 per senior to cover the cost of the events for the year.  You may pay online at the school store the “Class of 2022 Senior Activities & Traditions” icon, Please note that we may still need to request various items be donated such as drinks and snacks to help supplement the budget.
