Campus Update 3/19/2020

Book/Material Retrieval information

March 19, 2020
Saint Joseph

Dear Parents and Guardians,

This is a reminder that tomorrow we will allow students brief access to the campus for the purpose of retrieving materials and belongings from school lockers, PE lockers, the band room and art rooms.  We will have staff on hand both inside and outside to direct traffic and assist with any difficulties.

As indicated in yesterday’s email, access is scheduled by House Membership:
  • 8:30-9:00 AM              Aquinas House
  • 9:15-9:45 AM              Borromeo House
  • 10:00-10:30 AM          Lisieux House
  • 10:45-11:15 AM          Loreto House
  • 11:30-12:00 AM          Neri House

Traffic flow for entering and exiting the campus:
  • Please enter from Franz Rd. through the WEST gate – you will be directed to queue up as indicated on the attached map. MAP.pdf
  • Please remain in your vehicles until directed to enter the building.
  • Students will be admitted to retrieve items from the classroom building and/or the locker rooms – a half-dozen or so at a time.
  • Upon returning to vehicles, exit through the main circle drive gate onto Franz Rd.
  • Those who wish to retrieve items from the band room or art rooms should then re-enter the campus through the EAST gate, park the vehicle and walk to the building doors.
  • Those who intend to retrieve items only from the band room or art rooms can go directly to Student Center lot and park.

Should a student be unable to attend, a parent can retrieve items from the lockers, band or art.  Please be sure that you have the necessary information, i.e.,  locker numbers, combinations, etc. Parents in such cases should also plan to arrive during the assigned House times.

It is our ongoing intention to minimize the exposure of students, parents and staff to potential virus carriers by limiting the number of visitors to the campus.  Door handles, hard surfaces, etc. will be disinfected tonight and again after the retrieval.  Access to the campus has been, and will continue to be kept to a minimum throughout this crisis.

Yours in Christ,

Joseph Noonan
