Homecoming Week:


Monday:       First Letter of Your Name (Taylor=Tiger)
Tuesday:      Twinning Day (Twin Day)
Wednesday: Anything but a backpack (Mass day) Nothing on wheels (like last year)
Thursday:     Holiday Day
Friday:          Spirit with mums and overalls 


Homecoming Football Game:
Friday, October 28 at 7 PM vs Fort Bend Christian Academy

Homecoming Dance:
Saturday, October 29 -"Roaring 20's theme"  7 PM - 10 PM 
Dance guest forms are at the front office or here.
Dance forms are due Monday, October 24 at 3 pm. 

Tickets on sale until Thursday, October 27 at 3:30 PM

Dress code for Dances: 

Girls’ Dress approval is needed by Mrs. Langeland in advance**
  • SJ23 students can submit dress photos for approval directly to the Academic Dean, Christine Langeland at clangeland@sj23lions.org or show Mrs. Langeland a picture during the school day, during lunch or after school for approval. SJ23 students may submit a picture to Mrs. Langeland on behalf of non-SJ23 guests.
  • A t-shirt will be issued if a student’s attire is deemed inappropriate or they will be asked to leave the dance.
 
Clothing Guidelines for Ladies at School Dances
  • Clothing must not be too tight
  • Clothing must not be too short.
  • Backless or strapless clothing is not allowed.
  • Exposing one’s midriff is not allowed.
  • Clothing with revealing cutouts, slits, and necklines is not allowed.
  • Short skirts or shorts are not allowed.
  • Clothing must not be “see-through.”
 
Clothing Guidelines for Gentlemen at School Dances
  • Slacks must be worn at the waist and be the correct size being neither too loose nor too tight.
  • For semi-formal dances, shirts, ties, slacks, and shoes must be worn.
  • Shirts must be always worn.
  • Exposing one’s midriff is not allowed.
  • Clothing must not be “see-through.”
