  • 2021-2022 Golf Banner Event

    On the evening of Monday, October 4th the SJ23 Golf Coaches will be hosting a 9 Hole - 2 Player Scramble at State of Golf Katy, an indoor Golf Simulator Bar, as a Fundraiser for the Golf Program.  To participate in the event, please click on the link below;  donations of $250 or more include a 2 Person Team for the Scramble, while any donation amount is accepted to support the program. 
    You must be over 18 to attend the event.  Contact Coach Alleman with any questions regarding the event or donating :  jalleman@sj23lions.org

  • Freshman Retreat

    Dear Freshman Parent,
     
    As you know, our Freshmen retreat will be held this Friday. Please note that this is a mandatory retreat for the Freshman class. Students who are absent, will need to make up the retreat by writing a paper.

  • SJ23 student email responsibilities

    • All SJ23 students should be checking their SJ23 emails daily.  
    • All SJ23 students should be checking their message tab on Blackbaud.
      Some students have 400 unread messages on Blackbaud 
       
    • All SJ23 students should be checking Blackbaud a few times each day for grades, assignments, teacher messages etc.  
    • SJ23 students should utilize teachers Access time from 3:00-3:30 for tutorials, to ask questions, for clarity, to turn in make-up work, complete assignments etc.

  • Information for the Week of October 11th

    Please read about the week of October 11th for information about PSAT and Parent/Teacher Conferences:
     
    Monday, October 11th – No school
    Tuesday, October 12th – Crimson Day Classes
    Wednesday, October 13th – PSAT for 9th 10th and 11th graders
    • Students can wear Free Dress
    • Report to assigned classroom at 8:00 AM
    • Students will be dismissed when the test is over around 12:00 PM-12:30 PM
    • There will be no cafeteria service and no extended care
    • No school for 12th graders (use this day as a college campus visit day)
    • All 9th 10th and 11th grade students have already been signed up for the test through SJ23
    Thursday, October 14th – Gold Day Classes
    Friday, October 15th – Parent/Teacher Conferences (no classes for students)

    Parent Teacher conferences will take place on campus Friday, October 15 8:00am-11:50 am then 1:00pm- 4:00pm. Please see Link below. You will be able to sign up for a 10-minute conference slot with any of your students' teachers. The last day to sign up is Wednesday, October 13th at 8:00pm.

  • Raffle Season Help Needed

     
    Raffle Season is fast approaching!! 
    We are looking for volunteers to serve as coordinator for ticket sales at the following parishes:
    Epiphany
    St. Bart’s
    St. Edith Stein
    St. Faustina
    St. Elizabeth Ann Seton
    St. Theresa’s (Sugar Land)
    This is a small time commitment to help our school!  If you would like to serve as Parish Raffle Sales Coordinator for one of these churches, please contact Annette Higgins at annettehigginstx@comcast.net or 713-295-1365.

  • St. Faustina needs volunteers for Fall Festival

    St. Faustina Catholic Church in Fulshear needs volunteers for their Fall Festival.  You may earn can Works of Mercy Hours by signing up below. NOTE: some positions are specifically for teens, others for adults.
     
  • Varsity Golf try-outs

    Varsity Golf Try-out on September 18th at 7:30 am at Cinco Ranch Golf Course.  If you are interested in trying out for the Varsity Golf Team, please communicate your interest to Coach Alleman in Room 217, or email him at jalleman@sj23lions.org  
  • Works of Mercy Important Dates

    New Works of Mercy procedures for this school year 
    Students may turn in their Works of Mercy Proposals and Verification Forms to their House Mentors as they complete their hours. Our Works of Mercy Coordinator for this school year will be Sr. Jude Andrew. Feel free to forward any questions you have to her at srjudeandrew@sj23lions.org.
