Alumni Spotlight
Samantha Patterson (Dante) graduated from Saint John XXIII in 2009. She went on to receive her BFA in Theatre Design & Technology from Baylor University and then graduated from the University of Houston with an MFA in Costume Technology.
She is currently the Costume Shop Manager at AD Players, functioning as the lead cutter/draper making patterns and overseeing costume production. She also serves as Costume Designer for multiple productions throughout their season.
She has been part of the Houston Shakespeare Festival Company since 2014 serving in various capacities from Lead Draper to Wardrobe Supervisor and works on the wardrobe team at the Alley Theatre when she has time. She and her husband, Brandon, have four dogs and love to take them on walks at one of our many Houston parks or on trips to go hiking.
