Homecoming is the week October 18-23.

Spirit Week
Monday, October 18th – Jersey Day
Tuesday, October 19th – Meme Day
Wednesday, October 20th – Mass Uniform Dress
Thursday, October 21st – Heroes and Villains Day
Friday, October 22nd  - Xtreme Spirit: Mums, Garter, Overalls

                7 PM - 10 PM ( lock-in 7:30 PM to 9:30 PM) in the Student Center 

Ticket information:

We will be selling tickets online ONLY.
The deadline to purchase your homecoming tickets will be THIS Thursday October 21st at 8pm.

Tickets for single: $30

Tickets for couples: $55

If bringing a non SJ23 guest, the SJ23 student must fill out The Homecoming Dance Guest form  and return to the Front Office no later than the end of school day, Wednesday, October 20.

Homecoming Dress

Mum and Garter Colors…

  • Freshman and Sophomores – Red
  • Juniors – Silver
  • Seniors – Gold
Overalls
  • Start making your overalls
  • All grade levels are allowed to decorate a pair of overalls to wear to school on Friday and the Game
 
Girls’ Dress approval is strongly recommended.
  • SJ23 students can submit dress photos for approval directly to the Academic Dean, Christine Langeland. at clangeland@sj23lions.org  or show Mrs. Langeland a picture during the school day, during lunch or after school for approval.
  • SJ23 students may submit a picture to Mrs. Langeland on behalf of non-SJ23 guests.
  • A t-shirt will be issued if a student’s attire is deemed inappropriate.
  • Homecoming Dance Guest form deadline October 20. 
Clothing Guidelines for Ladies at School Dances
  • Clothing must not be too tight.
  • Backless or strapless clothing is not allowed.
  • Exposing one’s midriff is not allowed.
  • Clothing with revealing cutouts, slits, and necklines is not allowed.
  • Short skirts or shorts are not allowed.
  • Clothing must not be “see-through.” 
 
Clothing Guidelines for Gentlemen at School Dances
  • Slacks must be worn at the waist and be the correct size being neither too loose nor too tight.
  • For semi-formal dances, shirts, ties, slacks, and shoes must be worn.
  • Shirts must be always worn.
  • Exposing one’s midriff is not allowed.
  • Clothing must not be “see-through.”
