St. John XXIII Annual Campaign
The Annual Campaign allows St. John XXIII to fulfill the mission and offer opportunities beyond what tuition can provide. Like all independent schools, tuition dollars alone do not cover the entire cost to educate our students. We depend on the legacy of philanthropy in our community to bridge this difference and help us sustain and advance our mission to prepare the hearts and minds of our students to serve God and others.
The most significant contribution our community can make to the school is a gift to the Annual Campaign. Every aspect of our school—from academics to the arts, from sports teams to campus ministries, from facilities to financial aid—relies on annual giving. The money raised also helps current year needs and funds staff development opportunities.
Each gift, no matter the size, helps us enhance every student’s experience at St. John XXIII.
How your gift can be allocated
A gift to our area of greatest need provides important unrestricted funds. Philanthropic giving makes up for 15% of the school’s annual budget and makes possible the yearly growth of the school’s mission. A gift to the Annual Campaign helps us achieve this goal and is an investment in our students, academically and spiritually.
St. John XXIII provides tuition assistance for 25% of our students. For the past 14 years, nearly 5 million dollars in tuition assistance has been distributed allowing more than 445 students to afford an education at St. John XXIII. Offering access to the St. John XXIII experience is an important part of our mission and our dedication to the ideals of offering a quality Catholic education.
The Scholars’ Fund encourages Academic Excellence. The St. John XXIII Scholarship Program was created to inspire high-achieving middle school students to select St. John XXIII College Preparatory for both its rigorous academic standards and the opportunity for whole-person formation. Each year, 14 students receive academic merit scholarships.
